ABOUT

The covid-19 pandemic has taught us to get ready for any situation in life. One thing that covid-19 could not stop us from is LEARNING. Almost every student was able to attend classes through online mode and even gave the exams in online mode. In our country there are number of online platform for almost every field like Byju’s , Unacademy ,Whitehat jr,etc but there is one thing for which we don’t have any national level online or offline modes to teach , which is hardware learning. Now what I mean by this is teaching them about hardware and software tools like Arduino , Raspberry pi. Everyone talks about the importance of CODING in today’s life but more important question is that where we can apply this coding knowledge in our daily life? . With the help of Arduino and other microcontroller we can develop and innovate thing which will be helpful in our daily life .So, my startup idea is about teaching students about hardware and software tools both online and offline to the students

MARKET DEMAND

During this covid-19 pandemic everyone of us fears to get out of home and go to different places as no one wants to risk their lives . Everyone wants that their most of the work and learning should be from home itself so, keeping In mind the current situation this idea would be very impactful and today’s world focus more on practical knowledge than bookish knowledge and to learn about software , hardware programming and functioning this would be a very good time and it will be online so anyone from any part of India or even world can have access to these things and these are the things which fascinate students and give them a thrust to start doing something new which is important but not common in day to day life. As soon as this pandemic is over there can be both online and offline classes . so, a student can choose any of the study mode as per his/her convenience

RELEVANT PRODUCT IN MARKET

In Indian market there is as such no big company which support these things but however there are some software like tinkercad which can be used for circuit designing and can be used as a simulator for many technical things but in case of tinkercad there is no one to teach us ,the hardware and all the other things which are required are available in market but there should be someone to teach you about these new things . This startup will provide lectures and conceptual explanations to all the students from top level faculties which means every student will be guided from scratch and there will always be someone to help them . Keeping in mind about this new idea , I think there would not be much competition in the market for initial time

TARGET CUSTOMERS

This startup , I think will mainly target the teenagers who are enthusiastic towards hardware , software development and coding . If you talk about science and especially Engineering then it is all about ideas and innovation, this startup can prepare them to think out of the box which will be helpful in their future life . Even the students who are interested in making robots , drones , etc can also use this. This is something in which almost everyone is interested in. Even the college students can be benefitted and can help them in their college projects and improve their CV.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERTISE-

Required technology and knowledge are:-

· Basics of Programming languages which includes mixture of c++ , java and python

· Hardware required would be microprocessors like Arduino , raspberry pi, breadboard , motors , batteries , bulbs , LED , different types of sensors , operating system , and many more which will differ from idea to idea and project to project

· We would also need skilled faculties which belongs to electrical and electronics background and are good in coding as well as hardware and software development to teach students conceptually

PRODUCT PRICING-

It is the most important thing to ponder upon if we want to make our product successful . For pricing it can be like following ways:-

· For the first 10–15 days we can make the classes free for everyone both in online and offline mode

· We can divide the pricing as per the course duration like 1 month , 3 month , 4 month , 6 month and 12 month . The prices will be economical as the duration increases

· We can give some discount to students who will suggest others to join this platform

· During the festive days there can be discount on some courses

· We can have different prices for one on one teaching and group teaching

· There can be scholarships for students based on their performance

· For smaller class students prices would be less as compared to higher class students

· For 3 month package it would cost around 5000 , for six month package around 9000 and for 1 year course around 16000

Following can be the marketing strategy for this startup:-

· Hosting webinars and workshop all over the country about Arduino and different microcontrollers

· Live Interaction with students of school and colleges on the need and advantages of studying about equipments related to hardware

· Giving ads in newspaper , famous technical blog sites ,you tube

· partnership with some celebrity

· Creating Instagram page about technical news , innovation in technology and describing about different types projects and posting about the prototypes

· Funds can be raised from national or international companies by allowing them to invest in our company

· There should be time to time paid contest to attract students

· For implementation we will have to make our own website on which training can be given to students , and a software in which logic can be implemented and in online mode we also need a simulator which will show us the output of our projects and also a communicating platform on which a student and teacher can interact virtually also a server where we can store and monitor the performance of students

· We would also require experienced and skilled teachers who have good teaching background to attract students

· Students will also get certification once they complete the course

RISK ANALYSIS

I think this is an entirely new startup so , there will be as such no neck to neck competition in the market and if we manage our resources cautiously there should not be that much risk and if we implement our idea well in the initial months than big MNC’s might also want to invest in our firm . If there will be more number of skilled and knowledgeable core team then risk of something get wrong will be less as each one will think according to their own mind and thus will reduce the risk

MILESTONE AND TIMELINE

It would take around 3 months to setup core team , so different things required for this startup and once it is available online , for the initial 1–2 months we have to be flexible with our market rates to attract more audience . In the starting it will to better to go for online mode as it would be economically feasible and once the startup is on track we can think for offline mode .As we go ahead we can plan accordingly according to that practical situation . We will have to regularly take feedback from students , teachers and their parents for any scope of improvement . I think it would take around 6 month to get fully established .

Budget can be estimated as follows:-

· An average software developer will cost around 30$ per hour for website development . So , think making website will cost around 8–9.5 lakh Rs

· Infrastructure and other resources will initially cost around 4–5 lakh Rs

· For human resource and maintenance it will be around 5–6 lakh Rs
